Art is a reflection of the human experience of life and creation. Bill's work reflects his own reflections on the passages of life and creation.

Although Bill would be considered a self taught artist, he prefers to think of himself as informally trained, attributing much of what he knows to observing other artists. Additionally, many artists have shared their knowledge and experience through books, magazine articles and the web. The influence of many of these artists in an extended community has shaped Bill's own experience of life and creation.

Bill's reflective nature is also evident in his "musings." Much of his writing grow out of his passion as a theologian and as pastor of Clareview Community Church in Edmonton Alberta.
